A construction worker is dead after an on the job accident at an Upstate retail store. The Laurens County Coroner's Office says they were notified around 11:30 PM Wednesday. The workplace incident happened at the Walmart on East Main Street in Laurens.
The worker was taken to a hospital where they later died from their injuries. The identity of the deceased, has not been released as of the time of this report
