A fatal accident in Greenville Tuesday morning when a pedestrian was struck near Pelzer.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was attempting to cross US 29 around 4:00 a.m. when a 2007 Kia sedan heading northbound on the highway struck a pedestrian, who died on the scene.
The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 38-year-old Christopher Lance Cape of Pelzer. They also said the death has been ruled as an accident.
The driver was reported to be uninjured, and no charges have been filed
