The man whose body was recovered from an Upstate lake Wednesday, has been identified. As we previously reported, officials responded to Lake Martin in Laurens County, Tuesday night after a man fell overboard from a boat and never resurfaced.
Dive teams then began searching and confirmed Wednesday morning that a body was recovered from the water.
The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 72 year old, Thomas Campbell Jr. also known as "Skip". An autopsy has been performed and further details are pending at this time.
