This 28th day of the Alex Murdaugh trial could be the one that puts the accused double-murderer's fate in the hands of the jury.
Back in the courtroom following the jury's visit to the Murdaugh estate half an hour away, chief prosecutor Creighton Waters spent three hours summing up the case against the disgraced lawyer.
Waters pointedly warned the jury that Alex Murdaugh's own testimony should be considered against what Waters called a lifelong pattern of deception. Murdaugh lawyer Jim Griffin will deliver final arguments for the defense.
