President Joe Biden announced this week , a plan to forgive student debt. That plan has been publicly criticized by many of South Carolina's Republican officials. Senator Tim Scott, Gov McMaster and Congressman Jeff Duncan among others have blasted the announcement of the plan. Opponents of Biden's plan say, it will bring on continued tax rate hikes for the working class. Many of those against the plan say, it is just a method for Democrats to buy votes from those forgiven of the debt. They also point out that the debts will be transferred to the taxpayers, who in most cases had no student debt of their own. Do you think it is a ploy by the Democrats to buy votes?
