Holidays can be challenging, especially when those holidays fall on a weekday. This year Valentine's Day not only fell on a weekday, but a Monday of all weekdays. Some couples put a lot of stock in Valentine's Day and do it up. Others don't put as much emphasis on it. Since the pandemic going out to restaurants has changed dramatically and has become much more of a bother than before. Many restaurants are considerably short staffed which results in longer wait times and less than stellar service. You add that in with it being Valentine's Day, a day that places are typically crowded and the holiday being on a Monday and you have several factors against going out on V-Day.
