Both a vehicle and a dog that was inside it have been recovered after a weekend car theft in Spartanburg County. Deputies responded to the QT gas station on Fairview Church Road in Spartanburg, around 6AM Saturday.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the victims who told them their vehicle had been stolen with their dog inside it. On Sunday, deputies announced that the vehicle had been recovered just over the North Carolina border in Cleveland County.
A citizen led search party was later able to find the dog, which was also in Cleveland County. No injuries were reported in the incident.
