A death investigation is underway in Greenville County after two adults were found dead in a home on Oakdale Drive.
According to a release, dispatchers received a 911 call at 2:05pm on Sunday stating a woman had been shot.
When Greenville County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene, it appeared at least one other person was still in the home; SWAT was called to the scene.
When authorities entered the home, a dead man and woman were found inside.
The Greenville County Coroner later identified the bodies as 33-year-old Dareen Bernard Gibson and 37-year-old Marie Antionette Hill.
The release further said the investigation is in its early stages and no further details are available at this time.
