One person is dead after a crash in Western North Carolina. The crash happened on Highway 25 near Fore Road in Madison County, around 6:30 AM Wednesday.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol arrived and found that an SUV ran off the road, hit an embankment and went into a ravine. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, however the identity of the deceased has not been released, at this time.
