One person is dead following a single vehicle crash in Abbeville County. The wreck happened around 9:45 Wednesday morning on Shaw Road near Beaver Lane about a mile south of Lowndesville.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt from the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a Chevy SUV lost control of the vehicle, overturned and was ejected. The driver, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene of the crash.
