
A Georgia man is in custody after deputies say he committed mayhem in the mountains of Western North Carolina, last month.
As we previously reported, a man was charged after he reportedly damaged property and fired a gun at the Paddle Inn Rafting Company in Swain County, September 6th.
The suspect Benjamin Michael Campbell of Atlanta is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a gun incite fear and willful property damage.
The Swain County Sheriff's Office says surveillance video shows Campbell ripping down a Donald Trump banner at the business and as he left, he fired shots from the sunroof of his vehicle towards the owner of the business.
Campbell is currently being held in Cobb County, Georgia and is expected to be extradited back to Swain County to face his charges.
