Greenville County authorities now confirm that the lives of three people, two women and a child, were lost in Thursday night's multi-alarm blaze, that swept a home in Greer. Neighbors reported the fire telling 911 dispatchers flames were coming from the windows of the two-story house on Sugar Creek Lane.
Firefighters reported it "fully involved" and "engulfed in flames" as they arrived at 9:30 PM. The Greenville County Coroner's office is withholding Identities of the three victims for now.
The cause of the fire has not been reported yet. SLED arson specialists will join the investigation, which is standard protocol in deadly fires.
