Only two member of South Carolina's Republican Congressional delegation voted in favor of raising the federal debt ceiling. Those votes came from 3rd District Congressman Jeff Duncan and 2nd District Congressman Joe Wilson. Duncan joined the Charlie James yesterday Wednesday afternoon to explain his position.
Duncan gave an update on the budget negotiation process. The Congressman feels a middle ground can be reached that would cut spending but still fund vital needs.
