A pedestrian is critically injured and a woman is facing hit and run charges in Anderson County. Wednesday afternoon around 1:45PM, a 72 year old Belton man was struck by a vehicle as he walked along South Hamilton Street in Williamston.
The driver fled the scene and the victim was airlifted to Prisma Health Greenville where he is in the ICU in serious condition.
Williamston Police, along with assistance from the Sheriff's Office and Highway Patrol, identified and arrested 49 year old Erica Lynn Rosser. She's charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Great Bodily Injury and Driving Under Suspension.
