One person is dead after a crash in the Upstate, Thursday. The single vehicle wreck happened on Blumefield Road in Anderson County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says, the driver of a pickup truck ran off the road and hit a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 79 year old, Steven Franklin Mathis of Anderson. The crash remains under investigation.
