The plans were revealed Thursday to put the organization's new office at the Spartanburg County Center for Philanthropy. The new set up will allow the group to provide additional services and better serve area veterans.
The group presently serves around 200 veterans in Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. The organization's President Charlie Hall says, that around 100,000 military vets reside in the Upstate with nearly half of them living in the 3 county area the group serves.
