
The family of an Upstate woman is still searching for answers, a year after her disappearance. Monday marks one year since Alexis Ware went missing. She was last seen leaving the 7-Eleven store on Highway 29 in Anderson County.

Her car was then found abandoned in McCormick County in February of last year. Her family is continuing to try and find concrete information on her whereabouts and there has been no real advancement in the case.
Upstate activist Bruce Wilson has been advocating for the family during the process and they are now asking the South Carolina Attorney General's Office to take the lead in the investigation. The family is expected to travel to Columbia Monday to hold a press conference in front of the AG's office.
