New details have emerged after a deadly shooting in the Upstate, Wednesday night. The Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a home on Pineland Shores Circle in Cross Hill, around 6:45PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found one person dead from a gunshot wound and located the suspect. Investigators say the victim arrived at the home and a fight ensued, which led to the shooting.
The suspect has been detained. However, identities of the victim and the suspect have still not been released, as of this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
