One firefighter is dead and two others are injured after an accident during training over the weekend in Western North Carolina.
The Riceville Fire Department says, members were undergoing training near Montreat College in Buncombe County on Saturday. Officials say an ATV crash happened during training killing one member of the department, two others were injured and were taken to a local hospital.
The identity of the deceased has not been released, as of the time of this report and no further details have been made available.
