People who went to City Hall Tuesday to hear Greenville's first municipal zoning code revision in two decades are still waiting.
"We want to make sure we get this right," Greenville Assistant City Manager Shannin Lavrin's explained to a capacity crowd at the special session of the Planning Commission.
Concerns ranged form about such issues as permitting annexes or additional structures on residential lots -- so-called granny suites or mother-in-law flats - - placement of driveways, fences, retaining walls and ditches, zoning restrictions near churches and a list of other Items discussed in a series of public hearings leading up to the revision.
Some changes were adopted, including wording about who could live in a homeowner's accessory dwelling, heading off just deciding to add a rental unit to their property.
