A group of suspects have been arrested in connection to a shooting in Western North Carolina, last month. As we previously reported, The Asheville Police Department responded to a reported shooting July 5th to the Maple Leaf Apartments.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering with multiple gunshot wounds. On Tuesday, five men were arrested in connection to the shooting. Three guns were seized from the group, two of them had been stolen.
The group arrested includes Maurice and Tarrell Harris, Kuron Grant, Dalarion Searles and Tyquan Ward. All five men are in custody in Buncombe County, four of them have been given a bond, Tarrell Harris is being held without bond due to violating his parole.
