Midlands authorities say a man and three children that were shot to death Tuesday night, were victims of an ex-husband's jealous rage. Sumter Police were dispatched to what was first reported as a domestic disturbance at a house (on Whitetail Circle) near the city limits.
They found the two men and three children dead when they arrived shortly before midnight. The neighbor who had called the police told reporters the man with the gun was returning the kids to the home of his ex-wife and found her boyfriend there. Investigators say he shot him, all three children, then turned the gun on himself.
