A former administrator at an Upstate church is accused of taking hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The U.S. Attorneys Office says documents were filed Tuesday accusing David Dennis of stealing more than 200 grand from First Baptist Church Of Spartanburg.
The document accuses Dennis of using multiple church credit cards to pay for personal expenses. The investigation into Dennis began in 2022, he's charged with wire fraud.
