A former youth pastor at an Upstate church is now facing a total of nearly 60 sex crime charges. As we previously reported, 35 year old Daniel Kellan Mayfield of Boiling Springs was arrested in May after videotaping a woman while she showered at her home in Greenwood County.
Mayfield was also accused of filming underage girls in the bathroom of 1st Baptist Gowensville, where he served as youth pastor. The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office says, those recording were found during a search of his phone.
The most recent warrants for Mayfield say that he set up cameras and filmed a bride and her bridesmaids, as they were changing to prep for a wedding at the church in April of 2021.
Investigators say, a similar incident happened in September of that year, when Mayfield was hired to video another wedding at the church.
Mayfield has now been charged with 18 additional counts of voyeurism and 6 new counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
