Four suspects are facing charges after allegedly assaulting two people while armed, last month.
The Travelers Rest Police Department says on May 19th a quartet of suspects went to the Vining's Apartments and forced unlawful entry into a unit there.
They proceeded to assault a man and woman inside and a gun was pulled on the victims. Police say property was stolen from the unit, but no shots were fired.
Investigators say the woman was the ex-girlfriend of one of the suspects. The four assailants have been identified as 35 year old, Dexter Marcus Jackson, 26 year old Devon Anthony Charping, 25 year old Bailey Andrew Johnson and 26 year old Wayne Wilson Sturgess.
All four are charged with 1st degree burglary, three of the four are also charged with assault. Charping is also facing an additional charge of pointing and presenting a firearm.
