Five people are in custody, one of which is charged with murder, in connection to a fatal Upstate shooting last month.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jonlee Chad Ricks was found dead in the early morning hours on July 22nd last month near Dean Springs Road and Dean Springs Circle in Belton.
Deputies say a group of suspects assaulted and robbed Ricks at a stop sign in the area before later returning, breaking into a fight and then shooting Ricks in the chest.
28-year-old Roddriques Rashun Watson is accused of the shooting and has been charged with murder.
27-year-old Jenna Lee Ward and 21-year-old Nevaeh McMillian are charged with criminal conspiracy and accessory before the fact to a felony and after the fact to a felony respectively, and 29-year-old Charles Alexander Williams and Samuel Summers are both charged with attempted armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.

The investigation is still ongoing, and deputies say additional charges may be added.
