After the tragic and shocking New Year's terror attack in New Orleans and Las Vegas, Jeff Monosso from Fox News joined the Tara Show Thursday morning to talk about the New Orleans attack.
Monosso said " After initially saying the attack was not a terrorist event, the FBI surprised me and reversed course almost immediately, saying that it was".
Monosso says there were obvious signs from the beginning that this was an act of terrorism "(FBI) Even admitted he had an Isis flag on the trailer hitch of the truck used in the attack and IED's were found within the truck".
The perpetrator in the New Orleans attack 42 year old, Shamsud-Din Jabbar a Texas native and a former solider in the U.S. Army. Monosso gave some background on him.
" He had some personal problems went through a divorce, financial issues and at some point became radicalized. He posted videos prior the attack pledging support to terror".
Jabbar was killed in a shootout with police in New Orleans during the attack. The Las Vegas attacker has been identified Matthew Alan Livelsberger, an active duty US Army service member. He died when the Cybertruck he had rented exploded in front of a Trump hotel in Vegas.
