Greenville County had to go "old school" on Monday after the school system experienced a district wide shortage. GCS and many others around the county were affected by the outage, after a major fiber optic line in the Upstate was cut. As of Monday afternoon, the District says their phone system was working and their internet provider was addressing the outage.
