Greenville County Councilman Joe Dill of Landrum is the man who proposed a resolution to restrict books that have been described as being sexually graphic from the children's section of the county's 12 public library locations. The resolution was voted down by a margin of 9-3. Dill, Stan Tzouvelakas and Steve Shaw were the only council members to vote for it. Dill joined the Charlie James Show on Wednesday to talk about the failed resolution. Dill talked about how he thought going in that it would pass. He also feels that council members felt pressure to appease certain groups and that swayed the vote. You can hear the entire interview below.
