After the proposed county budget and the tax increases included in it passed it's 2nd reading at Tuesday night's Greenville County Council meeting, one man who voted against it is speaking out. District 20 Councilman Steve Show appeared on the Charlie James Show, Wednesday evening to talk about the meeting.
The conservation covered all aspects of the vote. Including an about face by one counselor, The Post and Courier had reported ahead of the meeting that Councilman Rick Bradley was going to vote against the budget. However, Bradley not only voted for the budget, but also proposed amendments on behalf of the 8 counselors who voted for it. Shaw feels that move was pre-planned.
