Tuesday night's meeting for the Greenville County Council was a busy one. A new tax plan proposal was introduced. The man behind that plan is Greenville County Council member Stan Tzouvelekas. The proposal if adopted would waive a significant portion of the property taxes in Greenville County, but would raise the sales tax in the county 3%. The councilman says the plan would save residents 30-40% in property taxes. Councilman Tzouvelekas and I spoke about that tax plan and the parkway project on Woodruff Road that would ease traffic congestion. The full interview is below.
