An Upstate woman is dead after a weekend shooting in Anderson County. Deputies responded to the area of North Prince Street in Anderson , Saturday morning. Upon arrival, 34 year old Brittany Sullivan of Greenville was found with a gunshot wound.
She ultimately died from her injuries. Investigators say Sullivan was visiting a friend at the house and the two woke up that morning when shots were fired at the home.
Sullivan was hit by at least one of the shots that was fired through a wall of the house. No arrests or suspects have been announced. The fatal shooting remains under investigation.
