A Greenwood man will spend nearly 50 years in prison after a shooting in that left one person dead and multiple others injured, nearly three years ago.
The 8th Circuit Solicitor's Office says, 23 year old Ahmad Evans opened fire with an AR 15 on a group of people at the Village at Glenhaven Apartments in Greenwood in late September of 2022.
The shooting left 25 year old Jamison Hall dead and injured others. Evans has been found guilty on charges of murder, attempted murder and a weapons violation. He's sentenced to 45 years in prison without possible early release.
