Greer police identify subject in Hardee's robbery

Released by the Greer Police Department.
Greer, SC (February 17, 2021): After an extensive investigation by detectives with our agency, the Greer Police Department was able to identify the subject that robbed the Hardee’s located at 14520 E. Wade Hampton Blvd on October 20, 2020.
The subject was identified as Anthony Rainer Hutchinson.
Hutchinson has been charged with Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during the commission of a Violent Crime, and two counts of Kidnapping.
Hutchinson’s warrants were served this morning on him at the Spartanburg County Detention Center while he was being held on unrelated charges.
