A group of alleged wild and wreckless wire bandits are facing charges in Western North Carolina. The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of five people in connection to a wire theft ring.
The investigation began back in December and the alleged wild wire bandits are accused of cutting, stealing and selling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of wire around Buncombe County.
The five facing charges include Joseph Bryant, Justin Banks, Kevin Fox, Sheron Nelon and Travis Glenn have all been arrested in connection to the theft ring. The face charges range from larceny, conspiracy, wire and property damage and multiple other crimes.
