A group of juveniles are facing charges after a number of guns were found during a search at an Upstate apartment complex. Greenville County Deputies were patrolling the area of Cedar Lane, last Wednesday. That area has had previous incidents of gun violence and other illegal activity.
Deputies say they encountered several juveniles who were brandishing guns and tracked five of them back to an apartment at the Hawks Landing Complex.
A subsequent search led to the discovery of five guns, two of which had been reported stolen. All five of the juveniles were then taken into custody. Investigators say, additional charges related to violent crimes may be forthcoming as the investigation remains ongoing.
