Starting November 17th, GSP will offer daily flights every day, except on Tuesdays and Saturdays, to Nashville.
This new addition, in partnership with the Nashville-based Contour Airlines, is the fourth new route to be announced for GSP this year.
GSP CEO and president Dave Edwards said this new route was very heavily requested and is expected to be very popular.
He further added that he hopes the partnership with Contour Airlines can lead to flights to additional locations in the future such as Pittsburg and Indianapolis.
GSP previously offered Nashville flights that saw up to 60 passengers per day. Edwards said he expects the new route to eventually surpass this as the service grows due to the larger market for the service compared to when GSP previously offered Nashville flights.
Matt Chaifetz, the CEO of Contour Airlines, said he is also glad to have established this new route between Nashville and GSP. He said this route covered the largest unserved market within 500 miles.
He added that he also hopes this partnership can potentially grow into additional airline routes in the future between GSP and some of their other 18 destinations.
