The Highway Patrol is seeking information after a fatal hit and run in Oconee County. The crash happened Tuesday night around 7:30 on Highway 130 about 4 miles west of Salem.

The Highway Patrol says the driver of a Dodge Truck was hit by another vehicle that crossed the centerline. The Dodge truck then went off the road and hit several trees. The driver of the Dodge Truck died at the scene.
The Highway Patrol did not have a description of the vehicle and are looking for information on the suspect vehicle. Anyone with info is asked to contact the South Carolina Highway Patrol at 864-241-1000.
