A homicide investigation is currently underway in the Upstate.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded shortly after 10:30 to a 911 report of a shooting victim at 6400 Augusta Road.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound who was reported dead on the scene.
A person of interest has been detained, and an investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
