The human remains found by a man's dog on Wednesday in Oconee County have now been identified as that of a missing Salem woman.
The body was found on a property on Whitewater Falls Road in Salem after the property's owner reported to authorities that their dog found a human forearm.
33-year-old Tonya Cannon's body was then found in a creek bed on the property, and she was later identified with help from her family.
Cannon was reported missing back in February after leaving her home on Cannon Road.
The autopsy on Friday was inconclusive, but not fatal injuries were found according to the coroner. Toxicology testing results are still pending.
