A human skeleton was found last week at a farm near the North Carolina/South Carolina state line.
The Marlboro County Coroner's Office responded to a farm in the Adamsville Community about 5 miles from the state line, Friday.
WMBF TV in Myrtle Beach reports that the property is vacant and that the remains were found while someone was cutting the grass there.
The Coroner's Office says they are still working to determine the identity of the remains and how the person died. The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office and SLED are also investigating the death.
