iMAGINE Upstate, a STEM-focused event for preschool through high school students, is making its return to Greenville this weekend.

The annual event began in 2015, focused on introducing students to and fostering their interest in STEAM, or Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Mathematics, fields.
“iMAGINE Upstate has evolved into one of the largest STEAM festivals in South Carolina,” At-Large Greenville County Councilwoman Dorothy Dowe said at a preview presser for the event. “Now in its 8th year, the iMAGINE Upstate STEAM festival has quickly become one of the most engaging, innovate and highly-anticipated community events welcome nearly 15,000 festival-goers from across South Carolina to downtown Greenville.”

iMAGINE Upstate will run from 11 am to 5pm in Downtown Greenville on Saturday, April 6th. Admission is free to the public.
“This free admission festival provides a unique opportunity to ignite the interest of PreK to 12th-grade students by providing hands-on learning experiences in a family-friendly event.”
