An Upstate inmate in the state prison system has been sentenced to a quarter century for running a meth trafficking ring while locked up.

The U.S. Department of Justice says 38 year old, Jonathan Adam Sarratt pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth.

Sarratt is already serving time for trafficking meth, burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle since 2019. Court records show that since early 2023, Sarratt facilitated the distribution of 250 kilos of meth.

He's been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, which is set to run consecutively.
