A suspect is in custody in connection to an Upstate dig fighting ring. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says 44 year old, Zachary Vincent Miller is charged with two counts of dog fighting and three counts of ill treatment of animals.
The investigation began last month after a complaint about possible dog fighting. That led to a search warrant being executed on a property in Piedmont.
Four Pit Bull dogs were removed from the property. The Sheriff's Office says the dogs showed sings of injuries from dog fighting. Photos of the dogs are below.
