One person is dead after a house fire early Thursday morning in North Georgia. Officials responded to a house fire on Martin Grove Road in Elberton just after midnight.
One person was found dead inside the home. The Elbert County Coroners Office has not released the identity of the victim. The fire is under investigation by the GBI.
