An investigation is ongoing after a fatal house fire in the Upstate over the weekend. Greenville County 911 got a call regarding a house fire on Maryland Avenue, around 6PM Saturday evening.
Upon arrival, responders found a man dead inside the home. The identity of the deceased has not been released, as of the time of this report. There's been no word on the cause of the fire, the incident remains under investigation.
