A murder investigation is ongoing after a fatal Labor Day Weekend shooting in the Upstate. The Honea Path Police Department and Anderson County Deputies responded around 1:30AM Sunday to a reported shooting at a home in Honea Path.
Upon arrival, a man was found after being shot, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The man has been identified as 31 year old, Shaveze Hampton-Finley of Easley.
His death has been ruled a homicide. The incident remains under investigation, no arrests have been announced and no further information has been released, as of the time of this report.
