An arrest has been announced following a fatal shooting in Greenville County. The Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired, at a residence on Gandy Ave. in Taylors around 4:45 Monday afternoon.
Upon arrival, a man was found dead after he had suffered a gunshot wound. On Tuesday, investigators announced the arrest of 69 year old William Douglas Louris in connection with the incident.
Louris is charged with unlawful carrying of a firearm. The shooting remains under investigation.
