Is the NAACP out of line for taking issue with Turning Point USA chapters in schools?

Recently the NAACP of Greenville took issue with the Turning Point USA chapter at JL Mann High School in Greenville holding an interest meeting.
Charlie Kirk founded Turning Point USA and in the wake of his assassination there have been those who have been critical of the views he expressed. The NAACP sent a letter to the Greenville County School District saying that many feel "this type of activity can deepen division and sow confusion".
