A man wielding a knife in Downtown Greenville Tuesday afternoon has been arrested. Officers from the Greenville Police Department responded to Mast General Store on North Main Street on a report of a man with a knife.
Investigators say, the suspect came into the store armed with a knife and began doing damage, then tried to break a door. The suspect who has not yet been identified, fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
He was later located at One City Plaza and was taken into custody. No further details are available as of the time of this report. We plan to have more on this story, as new information emerges.
